The low quality of the original post, could probably explain the confusion. If you want to reduce confusion on future posts a couple of suggestion that would help: Dont leave your sweeping statement so open, this will stop residents of the area thinking the announcements are meant they apply to them. Dont claim "land" in 1 post, then repeatedly state you dont want to do the work generally required to make such a claim recognisable. Consistance is important.

We live in fountain and call it our home and for some that is enough to call it "our land". You can play by the map rules all you want, we know how it is in fountain because we live there. I live in foutain too, i live in alliance developed infrastructures, you, on the otherhand live there by the grace of the NPC's. I'm not overly interested in if you agree with the map rules or not, it's just hard to see which part of the "land" is yours exactly. Your arguement is rather similar to an NPC logging on and off in a random system and then asking for it to be recognised as his.

Personnelly, I think every corp should feel the need to come to the forum and post "if you shoot us or our friends, we'll shoot back".. the shock and wonder it brings.. is really worthy of the radical thinking that it took to come up with the policy in the first place..

You're trying to argue for the sake of it. I think the word your looking for is "Discuss". Again, another radical concept for the "Corporation, Alliance and Organization Discussions" forum..

This was more than announcing that we will fire back in combat. Normally we work alone killing the enemy(we still do) but now we are in a different position where we help others experience 0.0 aswell. We are dealing with alot of new players and corps and we can't assume that our policies are clear to them unless we tell them. It's nice to see CELES finally learning from the actions of more forward thinking groups and individuals. I had the opportunity, to see programs like this in action, while in ATUK many many months ago. The recognition of the benifits of helping new players takes alot longer to reach ordinary corps, like CELES, but better late than never. I salute your attempt to bring CELES out of the old stereotypical "pirate"/"gatecamper" role. Maybe this will even be a bright new beginning for CELES, when you actually contribute something to the 0.0 community. I must admit I've found your willingness to help relocate the battle weary ASCN members touching.
